What do you learn?
Unreal Connectors is an intensive specialization path aimed at professionals, artists or people interested in working in studios with cutting-edge technology. Its main objective is to provide you with the knowledge with which Epic Games revolutionized the audiovisual industry around the world. You will learn new Virtual Production tools with Unreal Engine to make a high-quality animated short film with a focus on Storytelling in a few weeks.
At the end of the course you will make your own demo reel, up to the demands of the national and international industry.

Introduction to Unreal Engine 5.0
Develop the first project in Unreal Engine. Import fbx. Learn the use of Quixel Bridge and the new possibilities offered by Nanite. First steps in the creation of materials and scenarios for Virtual Production.
Introduction to animation and lighting
Unreal Engine lighting and animation tools. Build scenes in Sequencer. Introduction to creating Blueprints for Virtual Production. Lead a live Motion Capture session and learn how to animate with Control Rig.
Armed scenes and Livelink
Cinematic techniques in a new workflow, in real time, using Sequencer and CineCamera. Create advanced materials for scenes and crowd animations with retargeting options. Take recorder to record facial motion capture in dialogues and movement from virtual cameras via cell phone or tablet with LiveLink.
Illumination with Lumen
Lighting basics in Unreal Engine 5.0 with Lumen for realism in scenes. Understand how to analyze and optimize a scene to know where performance is lacking and how to fix it.
Post Production and Final Rendering
Optimize the final look of the scene through Post-Process and learn how to export it in the best quality, with Movie Render Queue.
