Arduboy Workshop

Learn to build this new video game platform through Arduino

2 classes
3 hours each

No requirements

Arduboy is a portable video game console based on Arduino.
Although its capabilities are limited, there are more than 100 games for the platform and new projects are added daily.
The project is open source and this fact encourages its users to create their own versions of the console at a reduced cost.
That is why at Image Campus we design a workshop that combines both passions.

The workshop

We are going to build an Arduboy from scratch. We will learn to solder the components, determine their correct position, read a schematic circuit to determine possible failures and finally we will program a simple game for the platform.

  • Arduboy: What is it about?
  • Basic electronics: tools, components and soldering.
  • Assembled a complete Arduboy.
  • Programming a game for the platform using the Arduboy2 library.

All the materials to work during the course are part of the Image Campus infrastructure: Components, supplies, tools and instruments. Bring your notebook!
