The applications of robotics today exceed the industrial field. It is for this reason that more and more hobbyists and professionals from different fields are developing robots: to solve everyday problems in homes, work environments, workshops and classrooms, laboratories.
Given the breadth of the field, we present specialization paths in three branches: Electronics, programming and design.
In Robotics from Design you will learn to solve problems, conceptualize, determine the ideal way to solve them and materialize them through digital and traditional manufacturing. This journey makes visible the union between robotics and industrial design.

Graduate Profile

Studying Robotics from Design you can:

  • Design objects, machines, housings and functional structures.
  • Design the plans in digital or traditional way for the production of your designs.
  • Understand concepts of mechanics that make robotics and can be applied in other fields.

Teacher

Egar Almeida

Project developer of the Infinity Special Projects to Discover area, a non-formal technology-based education program under the Ministry of Education of the Nation. He also serves as a mentor at Creactivis, a non-formal education workshop for children and adolescents from 10 to 18 years old. Passionate about programming and electronics, Egar also works as a consultant and prototype developer of technology-based products for pharmaceutical laboratories, surgery, and orthopedics, as well as commercial products. He worked in the video game industry for 13 years, developing video games for GBA, WiiWare, Nintendo DS, PC and Web platforms.
Teacher

Verónica Calzada

Art Director graduated from the Argentine Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAP) and advanced student of Industrial Design. Passionate about objects, Verónica is a specialist in evaluating concepts based on their function and use, as well as in combining traditional manufacturing techniques with digital techniques in their ventures. As an entrepreneur, she developed her own brand and designs objects, ornaments and clothing combining traditional manufacturing techniques with digital manufacturing.
Teacher

Francisco Gerardi

Coordinator of Special Projects in Infinite to Discover, a non-formal education program based on technology under the Ministry of Education of the Nation. He is also a mentor at Creactivis, a non-formal education workshop for children and adolescents from 10 to 18 years old. Bachelor of Plastic Arts and passionate about mechanics, he worked as a teacher of technology subjects at the National University of Lanús (UNLA). Expert in digital manufacturing, he was an assistant in the formulation of the standard and the evaluation instrument to certify 3D printer operators. He participated in the development of an 3D printer without a rigid structure, replacing it with a hanging system.
