If you are working with graphics or video, you can expand your creative field by adding animation tools such as motion graphics that will allow you to respond to changing trends in advertising, TV channels (local and foreign) and video intervened. The task of the motiongrapher is highly demanded today: his expertise allows him to provide quick solutions, combining Art and Animation.

What do you learn ?

Handle tools used in TV to animate graphics and modeling in 3D.

Understand how to prepare a static graph that will be taken to the animation. You will start animating simple pieces in 2.5D (After Effects) and 3D, then you will give them greater complexity by applying plugins.

Integrate correctly the different software you use throughout the work process.

Incorporate the assembly and sound criteria.
Animating characters in 3D simple advertising.

Put together a system of TV Branding, covering the entire creative process: analysis, implementation of ideas, graphics downs, operational and institutional animation of a TV channel and final render parts.

Make your demo reel (animated portfolio) to present to the audiovisual industry.
Requirements: Basic handling of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Graduate Profile

By studying Motion Graphics on Image Campus, you can work as a motion grapher on television channels, film and audiovisual producers, web advertising, animation studios, or your own projects, performing the following tasks:

  • Graphic animation in After Effects.
  • Modeling and animation of simple elements used in advertising.
  • three-dimensional animations.
  • Voicing of audiovisual works.
YOU WILL RECEIVE APPROVAL CERTIFICATE (approving all evaluation instances) or ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE (crediting the 80% of assistance).

Blend Learing mode:

The Vocational Training Path Motion Graphics Image Campus is taught in Blend Learning mode: the content of each week will be available in advance in online explanatory videos, which will be discussed and practiced during the two subsequent face-to-face meetings.

In order to incorporate the most modern concepts and techniques of the market, the Motion Graphics path adds 4 face-to-face workshops during the regular course:

  • Chroma Key trimming techniques
  • Virtual Reality applied to 360º videos
  • Traditional Animation by rotoscopy applied to Motion Graphics

Introduction to mapped projections


From the use of After Effects, students will be introduced in the different Mapping techniques, which consists of projecting videos in an 3D space, for a three-dimensional immersion of the viewer in the space.

Chroma Key trimming techniques


In many cases, a professional in the area of ​​Motion Graphics, must remove the background of a capture made in study, to compose it with digital elements.
In this workshop we explored the main cutting techniques by Chroma Key and the composition of those elements cut out in an audiovisual piece from the world of advertising.

Virtual Reality applied to 360º videos


Currently, After Effects allows visualization of parts in virtual reality devices.
In this workshop, we explore the main tools for students to be able to make immersive content in virtual reality.

Traditional animation by rotoscopy applied to Motion


With Adobe Animate, students will perform the rotoscopy of a real video (Live Action), turning it into a traditional animation, and then creating elements of strong visual impact, mixing composition techniques with traditional frame-by-frame animation.

Designer and audiovisual producer in Huella Digital (Co-founder). Certified by Adobe as ACE (Adobe CertifiedExpert) and ACI (Adobe Certified Instructor) in After Effects and Premiere. Certified by Autodesk as Autodesk Certified Professional, in Autodesk Maya. Between 2008 and 2013, he worked as professor and academic coordinator at the SAGA institute, at the headquarters of Salvador-Bahia and Belo Horizonte-Minas Gerais, Brazil. Serves producers in Argentina and Brazil as a freelancer in the Motion Graphics area. In Image Campus he works from 2014 as content coordinator and teacher in the Multimedia Production Career, Motion Graphics Vocational Training Course and as Image Campus consulting professor for business training.

Mariano Bernardi

Director of Advertising Art, with a focus on digital art. In 2011 he studied Motion Graphics in Image Campus, specializing in 3D animations, then trained in the modeling and rigging of characters. As a modeler, she collaborated with various content producers, advertising agencies and television channels. From 2015 he works as a professor of Image Campus in the Motion Graphics Professional Training Path. He also works in systems and as a generalist and freelance animator.

Javier Delgado

Digital Composer, Generalist 3D, Motion Grapher. Integral director of Cinema and TV (Cinematographic Research Center). Certified in Adobe Beta Tester for After Effects and in Foundry Beta Tester for Nuke. Senior Digtal Composer at Plural Producciones. He worked as a digital composer, animator 2D / 3D and motion grapher for 9 years. He served as Head of the editing area and professor of Adobe Premiere and After Effects at CIC. His outstanding projects as a digital composer are “Video IDs HBO” for the producer Plenty-HBO (2015), feature film: “Cliff of Freedom” (Barraca Post-2017) and advertising: “Doritos Fortuna” (Bitt Animation - 2017). From 2018 he is professor of the Multimedia Production career and of the Motion Graphics Vocational Training Path at Image Campus.

Audio Recording and Post-Production Technician, Sound Designer and Bachelor in Audiovisual Arts Sound orientation. He has worked in the world of Audio for all Audiovisual Media: Cinema, TV, Advertising Spots, Animation, Multimedia Projects and Installations. For a few years he began to specialize in the specific Sound treatment required by the non-linear world of Video Games. Dedicated to Teaching and Artistic Research and Production of Sound, he designed and implemented Study Plans for every need of the Audiovisual Art industry.
