Godot is an Open Source and Multiplatform Video Game Engine, with a very friendly interface, to create and develop 2D and 3D video games.


Godot ( is a new tool to create video games. An engine with the benefits of large, but very easy to learn and use. It is open source, can be used free of charge and has a growing community of users.

Godot has received international awards and the support of giants such as Mozilla (see). In the world, specific events are held around the tool, such as GodotCon (see).

In this journey you will learn how to use it from scratch, without the need of prior knowledge of an engine or programming. You will create 2D, 3D and multiplayer games, understanding the tool, general aspects to develop videogames and programming concepts.

Who will teach you is nothing less than the main author of the engine, Juan Liniestky, one of the most important references on videogame development in Argentina.

In four months you will obtain a solid base to face your own projects and the theoretical knowledge that will allow you to approach, in the future, other engines such as Unity or Unreal.

Studying Video Game Development with Godot in Image Campus, you can play as:

  • Beginner Video Game Programmer
  • Programmer of own games
You will receive a Certificate of Approval (approving all instances of evaluation) or Attendance Certificate (certifying the 80% attendance).

If you still do not know how to program and you want to start doing it, we recommend the journey INTRODUCTION TO PROGRAMMING FOR GAMES
If you already know how to program and you are interested in developing games by trying another tool, you can continue with UNITY
If you are attracted to the 3D art for videogames, we suggest you follow your training with GAME ART. If you are interested in the analysis and conceptual design of videogames, we recommend you GAME DESIGN.

Infrastructure and Resources
  • Classrooms equipped with the latest technology.
  • One PC per student, with the software required for that submitted.
  • Projectors and screens to follow the instructions and teachers.
  • Classroom Workshop with an animation board, a computer and a Wacom tablet per student.
  • Materials for illustration and animation, Wacom tablets, scanners and sound.
  • New Technological Resources available to our students and teachers: Virtual Reality Experiences, with the new Oculus Cristal Cove, HTC Vive, Leap Motion, Eye Tracker (Virtual Reality experiences); Ultimaker 2 + and Makerbot in their Replicator model, which will be available to all students of Image Campus to materialize the 3D prototypes they develop; Motion Capture (new Motion Capture system) and Video Game Consoles (PlayStation 4 among others).
  • The Virtual Classroom (online platform) will support your daily physical working: you will find study materials uploaded by teachers, evaluations items to raise TPs, qualifications, educational quality surveys.
