You will work individually and in multidisciplinary teams together with students from other areas (Programming, Game Art, Game Design, Testing) developing original video games that will be published.
What is Game Audio?
Game Audio is the universal term for the audio department in video game production. Develops tasks thought and conceived from the interactive needs presented by the medium, to support the narrative conceptually, propose the emotions that the player seeks to transmit and give information about the game. Among his tasks are: the design of sound effects and sound environments, foley, music composition and production, voice recording and its treatment to characterize characters, and fundamentally, the integration of all audio within the game. Build and implement non-linear systems so that the entire soundtrack adapts to the different states / situations that the gameplay addresses and composes generative audio systems to create in real time new and varied sound information options within the framework proposed in the audio design.
What do you learn?

- Devise, create and transmit the narrative concepts typical of audiovisual communication, from a different way of thinking about sound and musical composition, designing non-linear audio systems and enriching video game production.
- Work with software and plugins necessary to implement sound action events and audio mixes in real time, depending on the game.
- Work on the sound and music of the game in an interactive, adaptive and generative way.
- Voice processing for the creation of realistic and fantastic characters.
- Create Sound Effects through multiple tools (audio processors, synthesizers, and recordings).
- Tools and techniques for the composition and production of music by computer, oriented to work in videogames, taking into account the conceptual and its implementation in the game.
- Design your own virtual instrument patches.
- Programming by code and in visual environments.
- Acoustic simulations in immersive environments
- Create scenarios in engines and add interactivity to develop your own experiences.
- To understand in depth the process of making a video game, through internships with multidisciplinary teams developed at Image Campus.
