A tour on objectives, principles and tools in CG Lighting (and audiovisual products in general) and a look at the local and international industry from the point of view of a Lighting Artist. This activity is specially designed for our students of the careers of Art and Animation of Videogames and Production and 3D Animation, but anyone with an artistic profile and interest in Lighting invites to participate.
This activity accredits 5 (five) CEPPIC points for participating.

Paolo Giordana is a Lighting Supervisor from Italy; He was born in the city of Torino, where he was trained academically at the Polytechnic Architecture Faculty.
After graduating, he begins to develop his career in CG, beginning as a generalist in various studios in Buenos Aires.
He soon became one of the first artists specialized in Lighting in the country, thanks to his experience in the film Metegol, which marks a before and after in the national audiovisual industry.
He currently works at Gizmo where in recent years he worked, supervising his lighting team, on projects of different sizes: from animated short films to advertisements and, above all, cinematics and trailers for international video games.
He has international experiences as Lighting Artist, among which two stand out animated films at Animal Logic, Sydney - Australia, and two VFX films at DNEG, London - UK.
His profile mixes a great passion for cinematography, animation and liveaction, with team leadership and the transmission of the knowledge acquired in this long journey.
