As part of the event, the 2018 Core Contest will be held, which will award $320.000 applicable in Educational Credits to take professional training courses at Image Campus and U$S 3.000 in cash as an Extraordinary Prize.

  • 19:00 p.m. | WORKSHOP: TRANSFORMING A 2D IMAGE INTO 3D! – LIVE FAQ – YATA ANDERSEN
    Workshop: Transforming a 2D image into 3D! – Live FAQs Description: Question and answer session during a live demo. Yata will show us how to make a volumetric (three-dimensional) representation of a 2d character. Through the use of Digital Painting techniques in Photoshop we will see the passage from a flat image to a 3D one, where there is no outline and the visual sensation is built with light, shadow and color.     Workshop: Unity Open Class Description: Unity 3D is one of the most widely used graphics engines for video game development due to its intuitive interface, functionality, speed and free use. Come and enjoy the open class to learn more about this tool that allows you to develop complete games and publish them on almost all existing platforms.

    Presentation of TIGOBO INDEPENDENT STUDIOS (France) Description: Presentation of the studio, the independent production and the upcoming projects in animation (2D and 3D), VFX and live action. Reno and Flavie will share their 20 years of experience in independent filmmaking and how they manage to stay creative and original in today's industry context.

    Production: Classroom-Industry Interface Description: Exchange activity between recent Image Campus graduates working in industry. Talk debate with teachers from the production areas in 2D animation, 3D and Videogames: Pablo Brand, Pablo Accame, Roy Magariños. Presentation of final student work and projects, screening of short films and video game testing.

    Workshop: What does a game designer do? Description: Do you like to think and sketch board games, role-playing games or video games? So that an idea does not die trying, it needs specific roles that document and organize the design and production: the Game Designers. In this workshop you will take the first steps in the specific and growing area within the industry, so that you can test your vocation.

    Mapping on Image Boy 3D Description: The mapping technique allows us to use any object or facade in the real world as a 3D canvas on which to project videos designed and calibrated to fit its shape. In this way, by taking advantage of its volume, we generate in the viewer the sensation that this static object comes to life. During the event, we will use this technique to map various videos onto a 3D print of the Imagecampus Boy, based on a digital model.

    Workshop: How is Sound and Music implemented in a Video Game? Description: In this workshop you will carry out the integration of the Audio material of a Videogame, implementing generative and adaptive techniques to create a Soundtrack that meets the needs required by a non-linear and interactive medium such as the Videogame. You will understand the implementation logic that is required for Audio in the video game, the workflow, the specific knowledge of the area and the compositional methods necessary for Musicians and Sound Designers to be able to dedicate themselves to the medium.
