Design and development of virtual reality experiences, using Unreal Engine

Virtual Reality is not only a new tool with multiple applications, but a new industry that grows rapidly in fields such as gaming, expanded narratives, education, retailing, the real estate market, among others. In this journey you will learn to create a basic virtual reality experience, through your own design that you can incorporate into your portfolio.

What do you learn ?

To design a VR experience for a player.

To use the Unreal Engine to create VR apps.

To plan the design and execution of a VR project.
To have a knowledge of the VR field. Current status of virtual reality, devices, development software, markets and main uses.

To work in a team of developers in a VR project carried out in Unreal.

Requirements: Basic handling of some 3D tool (3ds Max, Maya, Cinema4D)

"I am a Generalist with more than 10 years of experience in the field. From my beginnings, making presentations in Flash, to being a Shading supervisor for a full 3D animated film, my journey has been one of constant learning and without fear of any challenge that I got in front of it. I have been working for Malditomaus for years, working as a team in multiple projects that cover cinematography, advertising, videogames and virtual experiences. Today with more encouragement to learn than ever, I enter the world of VR with the Unreal video game engine Engine as a fundamental basis for exploring worlds that kidnap our senses and break the paradigms of our imagination. "

Infrastructure and Resources

  • Classrooms equipped with the latest technology: I7 processors, GTX and RTX video cards, SSD discs, 20 inch LED monitors.
  • One PC per student, with the software required for that submitted.
  • HD projectors and HD Smart TVs to follow the instructions and instructions of the teachers.
