Using Reality Capture y Unreal Engine You will learn to create complex digital twins with photogrammetry and LIDAR scanning techniques, accurately replicating hyper-realistic 3D environments (buildings, objects, textures). You will be able to take interactive tours in real time, preserve it in a historical record, plan or visualize a change in its style and architecture. You will carry out this process through a proven, agile and effective workflow, thus creating digital models with striking realism.

What are Digital Twins or Digital Twins?

With the rapid technological advance in various industries, it is necessary to obtain digital maps of the real world around us to improve the precision of 3D environments. If you work with 3D models and their data, you have probably heard of “digital twins.” 

Basically, a digital twin is a 3D model of a physical entity, such as a person, artifact, or building. For example, if we need to have a digital version of a historical building, with techniques such as photogrammetry and LIDAR scanning we can obtain a model with very precise data to replicate that building with extreme realism. In turn, we could use it to create an interactive tour, preserve it in a historical record or to plan and visualize a change in its style and architecture.
