This course will provide you with the knowledge and practice to function professionally as a programmer in the most widely used tools today to create video games, immersive experiences and applications with real-time rendering. You will be able to work in the video game industry as well as in others that today take advantage of these tools, such as film and animation, automotive, architecture, among many others. More and more activities and companies demand knowledge in real-time 3D creation platforms and this degree enables you to understand them in depth and solve real problems that as a programmer may arise in a production. What is a game engine?
A video game engine (in English: game engine) is a tool that provides a set of facilities to be able to develop a video game.
As developers, if we wanted to create a game from scratch, we would have to focus on solving a set of problems prior to implementing the gameplay. For example, before we can add the code so that our character is running and jumping, we would have to program the parts that allow us to load a 3D model, display it on the screen, draw the environment, interact with the peripherals, etc.
The engines make this task easier for us by providing a software layer that solves some aspects for us, leaving us the part that we are really interested in creating: the game.
Today, these tools that were born as video game engines have become true platforms for creating experiences in real time, giving us the possibility of creating hyper-realistic graphic environments and a level of interaction never seen before, all with a flexibility that enhances our creative ability.

Unreal Engine 5 is the most powerful tool for creating 3D content in real time and Image Campus is the first authorized Unreal training center in Latin America. In this career you will learn not only how to use it, but also how to do it professionally, interacting with the content creation areas to integrate models, animations, visual effects, giving all of this the appropriate interaction.
Unity is one of the leading platforms for real-time content creation. It contains a set of accessible tools for those starting out in development. With this and other tools, such as Godot, you will learn to program to create video games, understanding the different systems and components of each one.
