Game Design

Boost your creative profile by learning about player behavior and psychology, balance and systemic vision of game design, mechanics and narrative tools, and above all the personal experience that allows you to create attractive and innovative ideas.

Learn techniques to professionally write documents that can express the vision of a project to the development team and connect all areas of development to assemble the team and achieve the success of any production.

As a game designer, your challenge is to achieve both an entertaining experience for the player, as well as knowing how to communicate your ideas to work teams from various disciplines.


Learn how to apply agile work methodologies and master project management tools to be able to successfully organize and direct work teams efficiently.

You will understand all the development stages of a project from planning to commercialization, understanding the impact of each work area on the final result of a game.

In your role as a producer, the challenge is to deliver a closed project on time and with the budget assigned and with the requirements agreed in previous stages.

    He has worked as a game designer, consultant for products and companies such as SixthVowel, PixOwl (France), Das Spiel (Germany), Visionary / Interaxial (Mexico), RashiGames (Israel), Codenix, Eudaimonia, Sabarasa. Creator of IndustriaVG, the first job site specialized in videogames in Latin America, totally free. Founder and mentor of the fortnightly meetings of cooperative work of videogame development called Game Work Jam.

    Graduated from the fourth class of video game developers at Image Campus, Sergio has worked in the audiovisual industry in areas of video game development and software programming. He works with various programming languages ​​and tools, focusing on multiplatform development. In 2011 he rejoined Image Campus as a teacher and since then he has specialized in training both students with programming knowledge, who want to be trained in specific tools and platforms, and those who, without prior knowledge, want to enter the world of programming of videogames. At the same time, it trains groups of professionals from important local video game production companies in content as these companies regularly hire at Image Campus. Sergio is one of the first Unity Certified Developers in Argentina, having completed his certification at the Unity offices in San Francisco during its launch at GDC2016.

    In a building environment specially designed for our activity, all our classrooms are equipped with the latest generation computers. One PC per Student with all the Software required for each course.

    Are there job opportunities in Argentina?
    Yes, in Argentina the Video Game industry has grown exponentially in recent years. Sixthvowel, Etermax, Artik, Avix, Ravegan, Game Ever, Pixowl, QB9, Globant, Dedalord Games, NGD, Willdom, Widow Games, among other production companies, develop video games for different platforms for the internal and external market.

    And internationally?
    It is also a source of opportunity. The knowledge and skills acquired qualify our graduates to enter large international video game studios and producers, among others.

    Can I work independently?
    Yes, because our students graduate with solid knowledge of the labor market and its projection, production lines, costs and business planning. This comprehensive vision enables them to undertake their own projects. To cite an example, the production company Dedalord Games, creator of Running fred, is made up of graduates and professors from Image Campus.

    Does the title is official?
    Yes. Official Title with National Validity - Res. Nº 1228/20 GCABA / MEDGC - Ministry of Education - DGEGP

    Who is it for?
    Anyone with a professional profile or with such motivation who wishes to design, produce or direct interactive products on different platforms.

    Can I take first year if I matters of secondary (high school)?
    Yes. You can take the first semester and complete the partial ones but as a conditional student until the month of July.

     What happens if I do not pass any of the subjects I owe from the middle level?
    You will be free, but once your academic situation is regularized, you will be able to resume the course in the instance in which you were free.

    What are the entry requirements?
    Pay annual tuition and present the secondary degree, along with the rest of the documentation.

     What documentation do I have to submit?
    - Original and Photocopy of the DNI 
    - Photocopy of the Legalized Medium Level Certificate of Studies (secondary)
    - 2 Passport photos 4 x 4
    - Medical suitable

     Should I go to Image Campus for registration?
    You can manage your registration in person, or remotely. In this case, you must complete the vacancy reservation request (Link) and pay the registration fee via bank deposit or electronic transfer.

    Is the Technique dictated in online mode?
    No, only in face-to-face mode.

     Do they approve approved subjects in other institutions?
    Only materials which have been approved in other institutions or universities incorporated into the official teaching homologated.

    What are the requirements for foreign students?
    - Original and Photocopy of Passport or Document (1st and 2nd sheet). 
    - Original and Photocopy of the Certificate of Secondary Studies, legalized and apostilled in the country of issuance of the title and validated by the Department of Interjurisdictional Relations of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Argentine Nation. 
    - 2 4 x 4 passport photos.
    - Medical certificate.
    - Certificate of Lack of Criminal Records issued in the country of the last 5 years of residence. 
    - Certificate of Lack of Criminal Records issued in Argentina.

    Is my high school degree valid if it was issued abroad?
    The full validity of the degree is accredited if you studied in any of these countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela.
