Position to cover: 3D: Artist Lighting and Rendering
Mooco is looking for a full time 3D rendering and lighting artist to join the 3D team. Applicants must have verifiable professional experience in texturing, shading, lighting and rendering of enviroment, characters. Additionally, the applicant's experience in composition (after effects) will be valued. It requires a strong understanding of photographic and cinematographic lighting techniques, live action CGI integration, HDRI and global lighting reproduction, color matching and correction, mood and atmosphere. Our pipeline is in Maya / redshift so experience with these tools is required. The applicant must be familiar. This position is for full-time, remote work.
Configure materials and render. Collaborate with artists with the texturing and lighting of the pieces. Support the development of character textures and shading specifications to optimize lighting and rendering.
Requirements: Solid experience in lighting and 3D rendering in animation projects (send portfolio / Reel). Competition in Maya / Redshift. Experience in the use of render managers (DeadLine). Accuracy and an eye for details. Ability to complete tasks within production schedules and deadlines in an organized manner. Ability to learn and adapt to new design workflows, methods and styles. Someone who is open and receptive to guidance and review notes from creative and technical supervisors.
Modeling experience is a plus. Experience in Blender is a plus. Composition experience (After Effects) is a plus.
